Become a Member

There are multiple ways to join SRDBA! Our membership year runs from January 1 – December 31, with four classes of affiliation: Individual, Club, Festival, Corporate. Insurance offered to SRDBA members through the USDBF can be secured from Jacka-Liquori Agency Inc.

Individual Membership

For an individual paddler, driver, drummer, coach or affiliate interested in participating in competition, training, or promoting the objectives of The Southeastern Regional Dragon Boat Association.

Fees

An Individual Membership is $15 per person. Paddlers must be members of the SRDBA to be eligible to race in the Club Crew National Championships. To join online, click Join Now! button below.

Club Membership

For a dragon boat racing club or crew.

Fees

$300 per year. A credit of $10 will be given for each individual membership received by the March 1st, up to $300 (30 individuals). If an individual registers with a primary and a secondary club, only the primary club listed will receive the $10 credit.

Festival Membership

An individual, corporation, unincorporated organization or other person that owns or organizes a dragon boat festival or racing event in the Southeastern Region of the United States (KY, NC, SC, TN, GA, AL, MS, FL).

Fees

$100.00 First year event 
$100.00 up to 50 registered crews 
$150.00 51 to 100 registered crews 
$200.00 101 crews or more

  • Ability to vote at SRDBA meetings of members (see weighted votes in the fee structure above)
  • Receive important updates on Dragon Boating in the Southeastern Region and the United States
  • Festival Link Posted on the SRDBA website and social media
  • Festival advertised in our newsletter and a link included on our Regional Google Map.

Corporate Membership

An individual, corporation, unincorporated association or other person, including a dragon boat club (other than a club member), a sport association, a business involved in the sport of dragon boat racing or a sport activity center, interested or involved in furthering or promoting the objectives of dragon boating in the Southeastern Region and the United States.

Basic Corporate Member $125
Includes name listing and annual profile in our newsletter

Upgraded Corporate Member $250
Includes logo and link to corporate website in our website and all our newsletters

Upgraded Corporate Member + Full Advertising Package $500
Includes 4 advertisements in our newsletters per year

  • Promotions in information that is distributed to SRDBA members, including monthly newsletters and emails
