This exciting event is free and open to the public. Join us by the riverside in Nashville for a full day of Dragon Boat races on the Cumberland River. Bring your friends and experience firsthand why this festival is a must-see sporting event.

The annual Dragon Boat Festival supports the Cumberland River Compact, which works to tackle the root causes of water pollution in the Cumberland River basin—a vital water source for 3 million people and thousands of species.
Dragon Boat Racing
Legend has it that dragon boat racing began in China over 2,300 years ago. Today, its popularity has surged globally, with around 50 million participants across 67 countries. In the U.S. alone, there are roughly 175,000 racers and over 150 recreational clubs that compete in festivals and championships nationwide.

- Opening Ceremonies start at 10:00 AM
- Races begin at 11:00 AM and run all day
- The winner will be announced at 3:45 PM
